‘Split between old and new Robert Andrew explores his Australian Indigenous history with the use of contemporary technology. Water, ochre, and oxide dominate his choice of materials as he combines the personal and the local with the global technological narrative. Andrew’s work is concerned with the uncovering, revealing and re-presenting aspects in Australian indigenous history that have been previously hidden, distorted and denied.’
