Superlinear 2015
Group Show - SGAR, Spring Hill, Brisbane
“Highlighting intersections of mathematics and art Superlinear explores line as a point of movement and it’s departure from the two dimensional plane. The exhibition observes the prevalence of line across the practices of three Brisbane emerging artists, Genine Marie Larin, Meagan Streader and Robert Andrew. In mathematical terms Superlinear refers to a curve that departs from linear in a concave upward manner, describing a function that grows faster than a linear one. Within the exhibition this definition becomes an allegory for the departure from the two-dimensional pane to the intersection of line in space.” copied from SGAR
